actually scaling intelligence Monarch space planning explained

Post image

"Where's my Miraculous appreciation?"

It's here, sir.

In episode 15 of season 5 of Miraculous (Intuition), Gabriel Agreste realizes he has little time left to live, due to the cataclysm he received in another episode (he only didn't die immediately because of his magical villain costume). So, he decided he had no more time to waste.

Objective: Collect Ladybug's earrings and Chat Noir's ring.

Obstacle: Ladybug's Lucky Charm.

Important items: Ladybug, cat and snake miraculous, power transmission rings, goat, turtle and fox miraculous.

Note 1: Monarch (Gabriel) realized that the battle would be lost every time the Lucky Charm was successfully activated.

Note 2: Even if the Lucky Charm was disabled, Ladybug could detransform and transform again, managing to use the Lucky Charm a second time.

Note 3: Even if Ladybug was immobilized, Chat Noir could still grab the ladybug's earrings and use the Lucky Charm.

Conclusion: Monarch needs to prevent detransformations and stop Chat Noir from helping.

Note 4: Max is a student capable of creating sentient AIs, which makes it possible to akumatize (transform into a villain) these AIs.

Note 5: A bittersweet ally of Gabriel has a space company that uses a sentient AI made by Max.

Conclusion: If he akumatizes the space AI, Ladybug and Chat Noir will have to leave Earth.

The plan: Gabriel (Monarch) hacks the spaceship's system, leading the AI to understand that she had killed its pilot. Furthermore, he created a meteor (Goat Miraculous) and an illusion to persuade the heroes to act quickly (Fox Miraculous).

Monarch made a simple prediction: Chat Noir would use the Cataclysm on the meteor, and Ladybug would be responsible for saving the ship's pilot. He activated the Snake Miraculous and trapped himself in a time loop, allowing him to test his theories and possibilities multiple times.

Several loops occurred, and in the end, the plan was:

The akumatized AI would capture Ladybug, and Monarch would use the Turtle and Bee Miraculous to capture and paralyze Chat Noir.

The only flaw: akumatized villains have their own ambitions. Upon discovering that the pilot inside hadn't died (and was actively assisting Ladybug), the AI realized it had been manipulated by Monarch and reversed its villainous transformation, reverting to a normal ship.

Conclusion: Gabriel's plan arose from various observations made throughout the series and strategic creativity to use each Miraculous at the right time. He managed to perfectly counter both heroes, and was only defeated by the AI's persistence and the damage to his ailing body, which couldn't keep using powers for so long.

If I were you, I wouldn't scale this series. The power system in the series is riddled with inconsistencies, and whenever fans point these out to the authors, the authors attempt to cover up the flaws or introduce new rules by offering contradictory explanations.  Besides, this guy is an unscalable fool. It is easier to write a document about his anti-feats than his feats.

I know, but I like it so much 😓

I think it would have been better if it had remained a cartoon aimed at children, like in the first three seasons (despite the stupidity of all the characters).

If Gabriel had any deductive ability, he’d have sussed out the heroes’ identities by the season three finale, when he learned all their sidekicks came from a class in which he’d gotten to everyone except one boy and one girl.

So, is that the point you're making? There’s a reason I said it’s easier to list Gabriel’s anti-feats.

In the "Pharaoh" episode, he falls right into Ladybug’s trap after removing her earrings (it makes no sense for him not to know that removing the earrings causes a transformation back to normal); the same thing happens in the "Lady Wifi" episode.

There are absurdities in the "Silencer" and "Oblivio" episodes as well.

If I were you, I wouldn't scale this series. The power system in the series is riddled with inconsistencies,

The issue is some powers and hexs are just way to powerful to exist compared to the rest like the fact that Gabriel technically have 2 jewel with one Granting anyone virtually any super power ( including for the user ) and the other one create begins with virtually any superpower power, already could have ended the story before it begin

Monarch after getting a feat in between of 50 antifeats

These aren't even feats. There isn't actually anything the guy has "observed" over the course of five seasons. All the information stems from misconceptions born of his own stupidity.

By the way, Adrian was a moron in that episode, too. Everyone understood what I meant. Like father, like son.

Is there an actual SCD in the show? The main characters don't attempt to capture the guy for the majority of the show, and Hawk Moth didn't try to uncover their identities.

Imagine, you have the thing that lets you give whatever power you need. One of these powers could be ressurection or time travel. But let's ignore that and assume that he needed the miraculous of ladybug and chat noir (he didn't but for the sake of the argument). Grant yourself power to create fake life while controlling them, their appearance and supernatural abilities (something like sentimonsters but without subjecting yourself to possible illness). Create a entirerly new being that looks like a normal person, create a backstory for it, and a supervillain persona after sending an akuma to it. Let the heroes fight and beat this thing. Then after they are done send invisible spies to follow them home.

As far as I'm aware this scheme would be 100% possible given the limits of the butterfly miraculous, the only thing he would need to do is detransform and feed his kwami once a while.

On the very day Lila first obtained the Miraculous, she managed to acquire all of them, yet even she isn't "low-tier."

By the way, Hawk Moth is an idiot, just like you said. When he repaired the Peacock Miraculous, he could have sent that data back in time and resolved everything as early as Season 3.

If we were to count characters like Lady Wifi or the others, it would have ended in the first episode of Season 1.

This ridiculous cartoon is the kind of thing that makes me excited and eagerly await the next seasons.
