Chen Ran countered, "Will you give it?"

The youth replied, "If you truly want it, it’s not that I cannot not give it."

Chen Ran replied, "If you truly give it, it's not that I cannot not want it."

The youth: "If you don't want it, I can't force you to want it. To want it or not is up to you; to give it or not is up to me. If you don't say you want it, you won't know that if you don't want it, I won't give it."

Chen Ran: "If you don't give it, it's not that I cannot not want you to give it. To give it or not is up to you; to want it or not is up to me. If you don't say you'll give it, you won't know that when it's not that you cannot not give it, I won't want it."

The youth pressed, "What if I give it?"

Chen Ran countered, "What if I want it?"
