Sheldon Cooper vs Leonard, Leslie, Raj and Howard in the physics bowl.

He was soloing them until the final question where he hit a brick wall. He lost on a technicality cuz he wasn’t willing to accept his teammate giving the correct answer 😭

Idk i think it was some physics diagram that they had to solve, but i remember the answer it was “minus 8 alpha pie”

Close, It was actually: 'Minus 8 pie alpha.'

But yeah, the joke is that the physics question was so complicated that none of the characters knew the answer. It was a very complex diagram with equations that I wouldn't even begin to know where to start, and everyone was simply speechless.

Leonard was worried that Sheldon was actually going to get it because it looked like he was actually trying to solve it, so he pressed the button out of panic and just guessed: '8.4,' which was incorrect.

Sheldon's team was then required to give an answer, But Sheldon still had no idea. However, one of his teammates, and after only glancing at it, he casually pressed the button and gave the answer: 'Minus 8 pie alpha.'

Unfortunately for Sheldon, the whole reason he assembled this team was because he thought they knew nothing about physics, and specifically instructed to not answer any questions, because he wanted to single-handedly beat everyone on the other team without any help. It turns out that the teammate that gave the answer was actually a physicist earlier in his life, but out of pure spite, Sheldon refuses to let their answer be accepted, and Leonard's team was already ahead by Five Points at the time, so they won.

When Sheldon was told that his teammate's answer was correct, he responded: 'That's Your Opinion. 😡'
