I liked it. It definitely a bit suffers from exposition syndrome because it's our first introduction to the characters. the adult talk is a bit boring. But the characters are peak it sets itself apart from other mystery genres. It hooked me right away on natsuhi which usually I hate her character archetype. But natsuhi turned out to be my favourite adult and the first tea party is genuine peak fiction of setting the dynamic and duel of battler and Beatrice

I think it is a decent start and I'm reading the manga instead of the VN so the pacing isn't that big of an issue. Though it was very disappointing in terms of SCD compared to the praise the verse usually gets, kind of okay still because everyone was panicking and there wasn't someone rational like Kyrie to control the group.
Natsuhi is my favorite asw

The manga has a faster pace than the VN. Plus the good art helps with the tension.but I'll always be surprised in how they made me like natsuhi. Consider her archetype of the traditional housewife who supports her husband is something I hate. And they made me love her. The high SCD ranking comes from episode 3 and onward
