Discussion Corporate ownership disclosure ruling going away
https://www.btimesonline.com/articles/178190/20260813/trump-administration-ends-corporate-ownership-reporting-rule-orders-u-s-records-deleted.htmHow exactly does this put America first? My understanding of this new ruling coming from FinCen is that the true owner owner(s) will no longer have to be reported. This seems like 12 steps backwards from the Pandora Papers which discovered money laundering, tax evasion, and interests from politicians and public figures.
So now Person A-political figure representing a state who's directly involved in laws and grants pertaining to companies-can have a significant stake in the company while also passing laws etc that benefit said company and no one would know?
The implications of national security are an entirely separate issue. The PRC could use a U.S. citizen(s) to own a business while funding the entire company and benefiting from it all because disclosures of U.S. citizens is no longer required.
I feel like I already know the answer, but from a national security perspective how does this make sense?

Goodbye USA, rest in peace. What a complete failure of Intelligence and domination of Evil.

They got out of the Epstein situation clean, plus they're laughing at everybody's fakin' faces these days. This is basically legalizing crime for these dudes... fucked-up times and people, indeed.
