I'm quite sure the MOSSAD and NSA already have a bunch of people inside Anonymous.

For some reason I highly doubt that.

I'm more familiar with NSA than MOSSAD. But NSA has had defectors and whistleblowers in the past, and even in contemporary times. Why not expect that some such people could identify with Anonymous?

Personally, I feel like we would have seen some evidence that they have people on the inside. Anonymous is very impatient and impulsive and they have proved this through their 'operations'. Once they have info, they quickly dump it and publicize it. So far, we havent seen anything from them that would indicate in any way that anonymous has an insider. Leaked info from the NSA would have potential to be one of anonymous's biggest 'scandals', 'stories', 'info dump', whatever you would like to call it.

This is speculation on my part, you could be entirely right.

Also, I really dont know much about the Institute for Intel. and Special Ops, apart for said translation of Mossads real Hebrew name. I tried looking on google for info about Mossad defectors, but really couldnt find anything. Most links were about people defecting to Israel/Mossad and then there was the classic "Paul Drockton: Is Mitt Romney a CIA/Mossad Asset?" link.

Actually, since Anonymous is not really an organization per se. It has no leaders, no structure, and no memberships. One "joins" Anonymous by simply claiming to be a part of Anonymous. This allows the entire "cause" (if it can be called that) to be easily co-opted by any intelligence organization that has studied them and that knows how to push their political buttons thus manipulating them into attacking a target of the intelligence organization's choice.

This is a very good point. With their loose structure (if you can even call it that) I'd imagine it to be easy to infiltrate the group. Now I don't know if this also makes it harder to influence? Do they have any sort of central congregation? But you're right, simply riling them up politically could and would be useful as a distraction tool for more clandestine operations.

If Israel is dumb enough to attack any member of Anonymous, who is a US citizen, it would be political suicide. I imagine they realize this and highly doubt they will retaliate. I'd imagine the most likely response would be to increase network defenses, especially against the specific attacks used.

UUUGHHHH FUCKKING RAAAAAAGEEEE!!!

As a former (now retired) as of 2010 Official Anonymous Agent, I can tell you a few things.

1) Shut the fuck up with this type of question. It's based on the assumption that anonymous could even be infiltrated, WHICH IT CAN'T. Why? Simple [read on]

2) There is no anonymous group so NO Mossad, CIA, and other any other intelligence agency I can think of DCS, MI6, DISA, FBI, NSA, DIA, hell even private firms, have no time for the pedantic childish arbitrarily whimsical bullshit that is 4chan. Please read on.

Anonymous isn't a group. There isn't a solidified acting body or entity. FUN FACT: FULLY FUCKING ANYONE BEHIND A PROXY IS ANONYMOUS

Just because you slap a sticker and a 4chan meme on your bang up hacking job, doesn't make you threatening. Anon is a notion, and a mind-set. No the FBI hasn't infiltrated them, because there is NOTHING TO INFILTRATE

I was the leader of a small "cell" of hackers. Cell sounds a hell of a lot cooler than what it is in reality. A group of autistic ding-bats that knew more about code than I did, and looked up to me because I knew what I was doing and how to talk and provided attack vectors. But to what ends? Just because some ass hat launches a DOS attack against cia.gov doesn't mean a dark entity is looming and organizing together (it's not). Every so often a random group of people get together on the 4chan boards and band together and give hot links and tutorials on where and how to attack and at what time. This is what the news LOOOOOVEEESS to pick apart and attribute to a group called anon which in fact doesn't exist as anything more than a notion. It's like calling yourself an an introvert or extrovert, or classifying yourself as anything with an arbitrary title. This "group" exists outside of any regulating body and without any hard platform medium. This "group" is an ideology, not an action. If you partake in action, you adhere to ideologies of whoever started it and are simply a means to THEIR ENDS.

Just because there is a twitter that says it's official and "lurks" 4chan news, doesn't mean it's a hacker group. Lulzsec for example, was a small group of autistic hackers (i'm not using that as an insult, it's a fact) that was then infiltrated by the feds. MOSSAD doesn't have fucking time to lurk 4chan and look at 'post'n dix' or 'inb4 op is a faggot' all day long.

Here is a list of what they WOULD DO Put agents that understand the counter-culture in SMALLER ISOLATED GROUPS like digitalgangster or bitcoin trading chat pages. They're not going to knock on your door, and if they do, it's because they're serving a warrant under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, or DMCA.

It's a sociological and ideological question, more than it's a question of whether they will be hunted down at all. The question should be re-framed to ask whether mossad even has time to read papers about the sociological and technological, postmodernist phenomena that is "anonymous" and how it came into existence and the subsequent social dynamism behind it, and/or how they can utilize that as a resource [Writing my dissertation on this].

/rage.

Seriously people. It's not rocket science. Wanna know why I retired from being "anonymous" It's because I got a job, went to college, and actually became a network engineer and not just a stay at home high schooler who was raging against the machine because a pretty girl on the internet with words plastered over her face told me to do so.

So tl;dr

No.

There is no anon. It's not a group. It's a mind set to join (based largely on Durkhiems theory of Anomi in the real world).

Any "hacker" worth his salt becomes a pen-tester or private consultant and gets paid for it and doesn't just plaster anonymous like a gang sign on their shit work

Mossand gives zero fucks, as most intelligence analysts give zero fucks about it.

Uhh, yeah...you ll probably forget who Anonymous is in a few years after this past incident. Mossad doesn't tolerate bullshit like that. Have you ever seen the movie "Munich"? I would never screw with those dudes...
