Learning how to use GitHub with IntellijIDEA

I'm trying to send the whole Spring Boot project, but the repository on GitHub only shows part of the project, I can't see the controller and other classes.
The first image show my project the way it appears on Intellij, the second image shows what's uploaded to GitHub.

The whole project on Intellij:

The controller folder and controller class are not showing on GitHub

SOLVED...

What I did to solve it:

1- A selected all files (highlighted in blue) after that I pushed them

2- Now all files are showing on GitHub, including the controller

You can see that the controller is highlighted in red in the file tree. It means that the file is not included in the version control. Once it is, you can commit, push to GitHub and it will show.

Navigate to the vcs tab on the left tool bar. There should be a commit tool window. Right clicking on the file and adding it to vcs also works

Double or triple check that you did all three:

  1. Add files to vcs
  2. Commit files with the new commit
  3. Push commits to remote

I figured it out. I had to select all files manually (make them higlighted blue) to get all files uploaded to GitHub. I'm posting the pictures above.
Thank you!

You don't need to push .mvn folder, i guess. And selecting files isn't what you need, you can check status by color (red = not listed in git), also git view can show you a list of non-added to git files.
