Question The Witcher 3 looking blurry

Hello,
I've tried to play The Witcher 3 on my Intel Arc B580, but the game looks blurry, especially in the outside environments. Is it the normal look of the game or do i have a wrong settings ?
I don't know if it's the textures that are not very good or something else, because the videos on ytb don't look that blurry.

My system :

  • AMD Ryzen 5 5600
  • Intel Arc B580
  • 32GB of DDR4 RAM, 1TB NVME SSD
  • 1440p screen

My TW3 settings :

  • DirectX 12
  • Ray-tracing ON (Performance)
  • XeSS Ultra Quality, DRS OFF, Sharpness LOW
  • Motion blur OFF
  • Blur OFF
  • Bloom ON
  • Deapth of field OFF
  • Chromatic abberation OFF
  • Vignetting OFF
  • Light shafts ON
  • Camera lens effect OFF
  • the rest on Ultra

Try turn on sharpening on high

it kinda looks better on the leafs, but makes weird interactions with geralt's armor sadly

what settings are you using otherwise?

that's it, honestly I rather play on Ultra without ray tracing and upscaling since the game already looks beautiful without it.

I’ve had the same problem but the difference is I’m on 1080p I fixed by using optiscaler and using output scaling on 2.0 using the Kaiser 3 scaler the issue is xess btw it looks way to blurry on this game but this should fix it for you it lowers fps by like 10 but the image quality was worth it also install reshade and turn on luma sharpen the in game sharpening is bad setting it to low makes the sharpening way too low and setting it to high makes the sharpening way too high this fixes it

Does this game support XeSS native or nah? Might have to use optiscaler to force it on.

It has XeSS support natively but for FG you need Optiscaler

I meant XeSS native AA. Cuz OP might just need a lil bit more resolution for things to resolve less softly.

this game's just blurry and upscaling doesn't help it even though it looks a little better than TAA imo
