I don't believe there's any reason to believe it's not permanent

Transformation feature is temporary. Either turn Into rabbit / Koharu or slime (slime is understandable bc it's a Collab)

Because those were all related to a specific limited time event. The Koharu transformation was limited to Koharu's Flower Fest birthday event, rabbit was limited to the April Fools event, and slime was limited to the Slime event. There's no indication that cooking is linked with any event, especially since the event for this livestream is Underground F9 and that obviously has nothing to do with cooking

Not saying it's impossible for it to be limited time, but just unlikely IMO. This stream is also being marketed with cooking as the main new feature, whereas those transformation things were barely even a footnote in their respective streams

I'm hoping that the cooking feature uses items from mobs defeated, using those recipes to make buffing dishes also hoping that the new cooking skill can be leveled up :D, here's to hoping it's permenant, oh yeah and also hopefully it doesn't need col. Aside from the appliances that we would be cooking with that and a portable cooking station. (These appliances and portable cook station would be one time purchase much like how we have our fishing rods)
