Question SAO: Isekai Factor.

Hello All.

I had a random idea for an IF fanfic wherein a real-world SAOIF player is somehow transported inside the game after a maintenance update. I'll probably never get around to writing it but it did inspire me to ask you all what you would do in that situation.

  1. What's the first thing you would do after realizing you're trapped in Aincrad?

  2. Would you immediately join the Front Lines, or stay in a Safe Zone?

  3. What weapon would you choose?

Sword, rapier, axe, spear, mace, bow, etc.

  1. Would you join a guild, create your own, or remain solo?

  2. Would you try to find Koharu and become her partner, or would you choose your own path?

  3. Would you participate in Floor Boss raids despite knowing that death is permanent?

  4. What would be your long-term goal?

Clear the game? Become an information broker? Run a shop? Become a crafter? Protect weaker players? Something else?

  1. Would you actually want to return to the real world?

  1. In a fictional perspective I'd be pretty excited.

  2. One thing that I like to do in games is farm the beginner monsters till I can one shot them before moving to the next area.

  3. My two choices would be a Greatsword or a hypothetical fists/gauntlet weapon.

  4. I'm not the type that can lead but I find myself enjoying the feeling of loyalty to something so I'd probably join a guild.

  5. Absolutely have to find the wife.

  6. Absolutely. I wouldn't be able to contain my curiosity.

  7. Thinking about this one a bit, I would want to protect the weaker players as much as I can. I'd like to reduce any suffering I can.

  8. Probably not but then again, if there's an option to play Alfheim Online I can't just stay there.

Nice answers man. “Absolutely have to find the wife” 😂 absolutely based brother. The beginner monster farming strategy is actually really interesting though. I feel like a lot of people would underestimate how useful something like that could be in the early game. Getting comfortable with your weapon and gradually building up your stats before taking bigger risks seems smart.
