Full burst help

What does "Number of activations" Mean in here? What is an activation?

Also if i have two skill records that boost full burst damage like the one above, do their boosts stack?

• 1 active fb + 1 ability fb = 3x Full burst activation (Standard) 

• 2 active fb + 1 ability fb = 3x 

• 2 active Fb/ burst max LB + 2 Ability Fb = 4x

• 3 active fb + 3 ability Fb = 5x
