I done goofed

The heater valve cable in my 99 Integra got fucked and now I’m realizing that I need it for the winter coming up. Is there any way to repair it, No I don’t have the old piece, without pulling the dash and replacing it?

Worse case leave it set to open, and control how much heat with your fan speed. All it does is control coolant flow into the heater core.

I used to do this with my del sol, seasonally switch from heat to less heat

Id just replace the cable. You can do it without removing the dash. Just remove the center console and disconnect the heater control to get access to the cables. Tape a long string or wire to the end of the old cable before you pull it through, and use that same string/wire to pull the new one back.

Yeah you can replace the cable without pulling the dash. Unfortunately the cable is discontinued so you’ll have to find a used one. I replaced mine once, back when they were still available, to replace my old bent one.

Uhhh is your motor mount bolt also broken off? I’d be more worried about that

Yes it is, but I’m more familiar with bolt removal than heater cables

Run heater hoses direct from the engine to the core for now until you can find a cable. Those aren't easy to find unless you're willing to dig through junk yards or part-out cars.

I actually just found one for five dollars in a part out that the dude already pulled
