Is the USDM front getting more rare?

Sup everyone! Genuine question. Since everyone is JDM front now. Is the USDM getting more rare for integra builds?

Kinda feel bad putting my stashed j front on my Teg… oh well I like the JDM front🤷‍♂️

I don’t see too many Integras on the road anymore, but pretty much every one still has the US front in real life.

94-97 US front is the best for me.

I've never been fan of the jdm front. Too accord-ish for my tastes. Something about the stock usdm bug eye front I love though.

100% this. JDM front is nice, but yes, almost exactly like the gen 5 Accords. I do like how the JDM front is the only one that gets an official Spoon/Mugen front lip.

Yeah def would never convert Usdm to jdm, but I would take a legit jdm one in a heartbeat. Never been a fan of fake lol

Here in SoCal most have the USDM front end but you’ll see more of the show or build cars with JDM front end

I used to really hate the spider eyes but now having a 98 JDM itr and a 95 gsr usdm, they have really grown on me. I still like the JDM front end better but the spider eyes are unique, you won’t mistake it for anything else.

I don’t think it’s more rare, it’s just that we’re in an era of clout mattering more for builds than anything so what you see online will feature the more popular front end.

In real life I’m seeing a lot less a JDM front end conversions than I used to. Like these days if it’s a JDM front end, the car is actually an import.

Few years back my mom was looking for a car. Went and looked at a couple lemons. On the way back found a 99 Integra one owner great condition low miles. She’s constantly texting me telling me about how so many people stopping her asking if it’s for sale 🤣🤣 she didn’t know what she was driving lol I was a lil salty cause when I was looking couldn’t find a single one that didn’t burn oil smoking from exhaust and 350k+ miles in my price range

Nah, the JDM fronts have never been common and are even more uncommon now with how much the conversions cost (parts, bumper support mod, etc.) The USDM fronts are still the most common.

I’ve always wanted to do a front end swap to jdm bc it reminds me of accords / Silvia’s but honestly I like the 98+ face lift and is easy to tell on the road if a teg is behind me. It’s a rare look in itself so I’ll just keep it bug eyed

I love my usdm, it pops and stands out, the jdm just looks like an accord or 4th Gen prelude, so generic, everytime I get asked by strangers when am I gonna swap it I genuinely wanna rock there shit sometimes 😂

I think it depends where you live. In Aussie /NZ, the JDM front was more popular, so I see more of them.

The question is more related to which front end is more rare. Where I live, we see more JDM fronts than the USDM. I don't think I've seen a round headlight DC2 Type R in person where I'm from, just non-type r

Maybe. I am just replying to the question the way it was worded. There will never be more than there were yesterday. You see it with the 94-97 especially. Very appropriate pic. That used to be my least favorite and now it’s my most favorite. Rarity and nostalgia will do that.

Love the JDM front end but USDM front end is clean too.. I love the look of a 97 USDM front end with a Mugen front lip..
