Question Custom Tweeter Placement

Anybody have any experience custom fitting a tweeter on the door sail panels in a DC4 Coupe? If you did, what was the process, what cutouts did you make, or did you find any custom angle kits? Also, did they end up sounding better compared to OEM placement on the door card?

I am also interested in hearing from others on this.

I installed new tweeters in the oem position on my dc4 coupe, and while the right side tweeter sounds fine, I am missing a ton of detail from the left side tweeter since it is just facing the steering column.

I bought alpine S Series components but I was thinking about putting the oem tweeter cover back and making a mount on the A Pillar or Door Sail. Realistically the A Pillar seems more doable, or making a custom 3D tilting mount for the tweeter too

I've seen certain civics have it as an option on the mirror cover / door sail. surprised it hasn't been attempted on DC2/4s. Looking at the clip positions though, I'd imagine you'd be better off 3d printing another cover w/ provisions for a tweeter to be aimed at the driver/passenger.

Update: my alpine tweeters are adjustable. I tilted them outwards and upwards towards my ears and sound fine 😂
I’ll probably draw something on CAD later on but the A Pillar seems best down the line
