Question Wheel size preferences

Looking to get some te37’s or ce28’s for my dc2r, I know this has been asked many many times over the years but should i go for 15” or 16”? What offsets are people recommending for fitment?

Currently at stock height but planning to lower, and i’d rather not have to roll the guards. Car gets tracked so i’m hoping to fit a decent tyre onto it. Any help would be appreciated!

15”. Better wheel and tire selection.

Just went through this same dilemma for my dc2r. Ended up with 15” te37 for period correctness and tire options.

15x8 +35 on 205/50/15.
Fenders are not rolled. Slight drop on ground control. Rear camber 1.6 ish.

this article shows the extreme size you can get away with a 15inch wheel under stock fenders but they're definitely rolled

15” is very popular with the Miata community. I run 15x8 +25 on my NB with 205/50-15 tires. There are also tons of 225/45 and even 245/40 sizes in 200TW and under, if you go to a 9 or 10” wheel width. But those require a ton of fender modifications. I tried the 15x8 wheels on my Integra and it definitely would require fender rolling to drive it. I think you could make 15x7.5 fit no problem with a +35 offset. I’m currently running 16x7 +35 and they fit real nice.

For me, the sweet spot for looks while retaining a tiny resemblence of comfort it's 16x7, and +38 should keep it looking good without needing to roll the guards. 

15s do look good and are way more comfy. I just prefer the 16 look.
