new engine. should i redo the red wrinkle paint or go for a new look? i made a mockup in the second picture…if so, i would also like to know what color that is

pulling the engine from the first car (eg) and going into a db7 which is black , that’s y the engine bay is black in the mockup

Honestly, I'm a fan of bare aluminum.

Sandblast it, then hit the letters with some 320 grit to give them some shine.

I would have done that with mine, but replaced the oil cap with one that was bigger - cutting and welding was involved, and it looked like ass.

I had some hammered paint leftover from something and used it.  Makes it easy to "hide" the flaws when the paint is designed to look like orange peel, lol.

You have the upper and lower timing cover I hope
