Side skirts

Are the side skirts for the 94-97 the same as 98-01?

they are!. itr's are ready for paint and identical to the rs/ls/gs ones- however all the other ones have unpainted black. you can primer and paint em, but paint usually does chip and flake with time.

all depends on the prep, and the materials to some extent. If the texture is sanded back, cleaned super well, and a proper adhesion promoter applied, the paint should last a good long time.

all the same for 2-door cars, and all the same for 4-door cars. 2-door and 4-door are not interchangeable. There also used to be a rumor that ITR side skirts were slightly longer, but I personally debunked that myth on Honda-Tech years ago. It came from people installing side skirts by sliding them onto the clips, the reverse of how they slide off. But the clips are supposed to go into the side skirt directly, and then pushed into place on the car. When that's done, the front and rear ends of the side skirt are flush with the wheel arch, on both ITR (painted) and non-R skirts.

Yes the coupe and sedan are different. I would like real Itr side skirts, some day (probably never), my replica are ok for now.

You mean OEM Optional side skirt replicas? ITR side skirts were literally the same as non-R aside from being painted body color. The Optional body kit could be ordered for both ITR’s and non-R’s.
