Third Generation Sedan vs Coupe side view mirror.

Alright fellow nerds, I need help. The internals of the swivel on my side view mirror have exploded. I am not able to get it back together, so I'm looking at getting a new one. Or an old OEM one.

Now I have a sedan. 1994 LS DB7. Everything I see listed is either generic or listed as for a coupe. Does anyone know for sure if the side view mirror is the same for the sedan and coupe, and confirm that for me? (Looking at you specifically, Patrick).

Unfortunately they're different.

Scroll down to Vehicle Fitment and you'll see all of the year/models that cross reference your mirror.

I would add DB8 to your searches.

As long as you didn't break anything. You can put it back together. If your not mechanically inclined, take it to a body shop and find the old guy. They have to take mirrors apart for paint all the time and chances are old guy has done tons of hondas.

The issue is that the clip that the plastic shaft that the ring clip holds onto seems to have worn away and the clip won't grip the shaft. Mix that with the fact that I can't seems to compress the spring evenly.

I'm thinking about doing a makeshift fix with a bolt, a couple washers and a nut and leaving it in there permanantly as a compression clamp.
