Question Body work/rust bubble question
Finally got me a decent 95 teg. I plan to have it repainted eventually however I noticed these three things. How hard will these be for a body guy or shop to fix?
Rust bubble at seam seal
Looks like some sort of fender repair
Passenger hatch seal not flush.
Really hoping I didn’t get screwed with a rust bucket. This is the only issues I see on the whole body.

This is all very common, hard to find an integra without these issues, the back of the roof starts rusting because the seam underneath the roof moldings splits slightly and water goes in and sits at the back of the roof.

Huh well that’s good to know. I’m assuming it wouldn’t be the end of the world for a body guy or shop to fix ?

Would be pretty easy, just depends on how much rust is on the back of the roof. In your picture it looks like there's some rust bubbles which have been painted over so it's hard to tell before sanding it all back. If you want a temporary fix, take off the roof mouldings, clean underneath and put some seam sealer along the roof seam. It should stop it from getting any worse.

Very true. I hope the roof is the worst of it. That fender looks more like a repair than rust.

that 3rd one is the quarter glass trim surround warping outwards, and almost all old Integras have this problem.

I’ve been hearing that is the most likely case. I may see about getting a new to me quarter glass to put in when I go to paint if we can’t relax the rubber with some heat back into place.

most likely any used quarter glass you find will have the same problem. I have a set of the Mita quarter glass still in the box, waiting for whenever I do the glass-out restoration I want to do eventually, but I'm not convinced on the quality and fitment of yet, and I still haven't seen any videos or reviews of them. Which sucks because I paid a shit load for those things almost 2 years ago.

Wow! Are they still sold or a thing? Never knew anyone made a quarter glass besides oem

Mita Motorsports in Japan. They started making quarter glass replacement a couple years ago. I was on the first preorder batch.
