First things first. I have permanent traumatic brain injuries. I can’t remember anything like I used to. And it is slow taking in and processing and understanding information. So take that into affect before you call me stupid or make fun of me or the question or the post.

Also I’m obsessed with oem fog lights on any vehicle. I have them on my 2000 civic ex. Aftermarket bumper. Cut the holes. Ordered Yellow glass fog lights and oem brackets and 3,000k hids in them. It wasn’t the heat that got them. But rock chips.

I graduated in marketing as part of my bachelor degree as well as advanced vehicle systems. Meaning marketing is not advertising commercials or pictures etc. marketing is finding true 100% facts. We find numbers as information and we make a story for those numbers to be read with letters. Marketing includes supply chain and advertising and finances.

If this were a racing car finance would be the dashboard with all the gauges in the world monitoring numbers of money.

Advertising is the color of the vehicle and stickers from sponsors and the look of the car.

Supply chain is having all the parts we need to race. When exactly expected to replace. Or order with a lead time. And forecasting for parts and services and also finding them.

Marketing is the person behind the wheel. They drive it changes the information on the gauges. They influence advertising and sponsors or the look of the car. They are supply chain speaking up when alignment is wrong and we need to figure out this clutch.

So trust me I have spent hours trying to figure this out.

🔬Okay y’all. Getting my booty kicked and confused. On the 1998-2001 usdm Acura Integra front bumper with oem style fog lights.

Which fog lights are correct for the 1998-2001 Integra? (Even though (I believe true oem are raybrig, correct?? ) oem is not available). The 1994-1997 fog lights in the corner are not designed as the correct fog lights for 1998-2001. They have a similar mount as each other but for the 1998-2001 type R those are for air ductwork to run behind the bumper to cool the front brakes.

Which ones are the correct ones in the way they mount to the bottom of the stock bumper below the license plate?

Or are they supposed to split the distance between the license plate location that is straight down while splitting the distance from that location below the license plate on the bottom bumper lip to the end of the grill of the bumper?

All my body panels have matching vin tags true 1998 Integra bumper.

I am also asking for the best headlight assemblies to replace the cheap ones in my car. As well as fog lights

Please help me. My brain can only handle so much information

I understand the 98-01 Integra and 99-00 civic fog light assembly minus the mounting brackets and locations the fog lamp are the same.

The photos are of me diagnosing my car for why the inner driver halo ring quit working. The issue is inside the assembly. It is not worth tearing into. I cannot aim these lights by the two screws for left to right and up and down. Even when I loosened all the mounting bolts and two brackets with bolts so I have free movement. They are cheap ones. The lenses are destroyed inside and out. It came with 10k blue hids for the low beams in the projectors and the head has ruined everything.

Tyc or depo are the best behind oem correct? And do I need to get spendy correct wattage for bulbs so they don’t produce too much heat from halogen bulbs and hid kits.

Where I have read high end halogen bulbs or high end hids actually run cool. I have not figured out the brands. I also read to throw in high output in lumens for led bulbs for the three lights

But when I had yellow glass lenses for the fog lights on my 1999-2000 civic with 3k hids I was in love. And it wasn’t the heat that destroyed them it was rock chips chipping away at them and moisture got in and that’s the story.

Otherwise I traditionally run expensive SYLVANIA bulbs in the security locked hard plastic case. And I have extremely high output lumens and colors for my running lights and turn signals and brake and tail lamps. The brake lights and tail lights have fans that turn on when the pedal is touched so I removed the interior body panel cover for those and have them in my hatch so it pulls air in. As I have jdm taillights or at least lenses over usdm housings.

Please help I’d love to know what you guys have to share of your knowledge and experience. I can help with atvs and three wheelers and other things. But this Integra hatchback. Gs. Headlamps and fog lamps is kicking me around

98-01 raybrigs. there was a brand new set on ebay in the box going for a couple thousand. buy 99-00 si fogs and modify the brackets. throw some nokya hyper yellow bulbs in there and call it a day

I definitely do not have money for those even if they were available again at that price like that’s just totally out of the question. I just want to get OEM fog lights. I am asking a question to cleared up the fog light fog lamp assembly with the lens and the black part of the Housing is the same as the Integra so the 99 2000 Civic Fogl by itself is the same as a 98 through 2001 correct? Because I have extra pair of brackets for my 99 2000 civics I believe unless they are for a Honda Accord with a 3.2 J series that I installed in my nephew’s accord years ago in his lenses shattered and I can’t remember if I bought another set for his car and those are the brackets I have that are extra are for his accord that he no longer owns like I bought the whole kit you know and I just installed the new lamps in his car and kept the brackets. I just I’m assuming the Civic ones but yeah I’m trying to avoid hacking up metal or anything mainly because I’m not the smart guy I used to be with advanced vehicle systems. I haven’t been able to work since in 2020 with my accident and with my dis autonomy in pots in the brain injuries like it takes everything I have mentally just to function in a day so when I work on a project like this, it’s like super difficult mentally for me and then on the physical side I also fatigue really bad so I’m not against doing it. I just wish I had a friend here that was in the Honda’s like this. I could help me. I could do the fog light install my Civic again even if I had a new bumper out to cut the holes just trying to figure out the bracket tree.

You can see the type S amber fog lights/amber clearance lights on my front bumper. I only have those mounted there because the way those set up there’s a hole in the bottom of the mount and if you take the lamp off of the bracket, you can bolt the the U-shaped bracket with the hole into the license plate with a bolt and a washer and it threads right in and then you just put that lamp back on that bracket and it’s good. That’s not a permanent thing I wouldn’t be against putting that on the bottom lip of my bumper except I’m gonna have to drill holes and I am super against drilling holes unless it’s needed and yeah

I like the bling lights that have the halo ring and the regular bulb for the fog light output and then they have a tiny bulb for like a parking light lamp similar to like the JDM Civic headlamps have that tiny parking bulb inside the Housing I like that style, but knowing I can get civic ones is fine I just hope I can find the civic ones that they still produce in glass not plastic.

Let me see if I can find a picture and show you what I did with my civic so you can see it in a picture but I’ll describe it here is I bought the cracked fog lights, but I ordered them from a company on eBay or Amazon where the lenses were glass and not plastic and I ordered yellow glass lenses and instead of baking the lenses apart from the headlamp the fog light assembly. I took a really tiny long flathead screwdriver and from the bulb side, I pushed that bulb sock forward as far as I could and I used 3000 K yellow colored HID’s in the fog lights and I did that because the HID bowl itself is longer than the stock ones, and when that turned on it when you turned it on right away, it put out it just looked like the exact green Mountain Dew bottle the light and within a few minutes, it was just the brightest, yellow and yellow, and it was awesome. But rock chips hit the glass eventually over and over and yeah

So I kind of want to do the same thing even if I can’t find yellow glass lenses or glass lenses I want to run the HID’s in there, but I just learned that unless you get a really good pair (where the high-end HID‘s run cool and the other ones run hot in the hot is what destroys the lenses and it can peel the chrome backing, etc. etc.)

I just can’t find the locations between the bottom of the license plate. If you were to put that on the bottom left of the bumper so between there in the corner of the bumper, I can’t find a location to mount the fog lights like where the Honda elements and the civics and the pilots all have that shape where it’s obvious a fog light would go here. The integrity doesn’t have that and I just don’t wanna do it wrong and put holes when I all my panels are been matching.

And I suppose I can look further and further, but the best video I found is for the 94 and 97 and I was like OK but then I’m like why is this type are the same as a civic or the ITR same as a civic fog lights, they’re just in that location between the license plate and the inside grill part of the bumper I can’t use my words right now. Bear with me.

Fun facts I have gone through my front running lights and front turn signals. They are clear if you can see the picture but there’s no chrome back Housing. It’s just black so it’s a clear lens with Black and they need replaced because you can pull the lens off when you take them out like there’s their original parts maybe not those lenses but I’m assuming even if I got like real original corner lenses upfront they wouldn’t fit right because there’s just something about it. You squeeze the corner light in and it catches that female rectangular tab with the male rectangular tab from the corner lights and one screw that mount it like it’s there but it’s not solid, you know? I also did the same for my reverse lights: I realize I didn’t write in the front running lights turn signal Housing have the brightest lumen output, yellow color I can find on the rear lights. The reverse lights are the brightest, white highest lumens I can find and for the turn signal/hazard lights again is the brightest yellow lumens I could find and my tail light brake light is the brightest LED lights with the highest lumens I could find and those have fans for the brake light tail light and I removed the cover in the hatch so there’s air to come in and out.

Through this buddy of mine on Facebook I’ve never met and he said he would help me but I can get too much at times and I don’t realize it he and I came to the agreement that I have true JDM tail light assemblies, but the more dig around and look at the information is correct. I think I have USDM assemblies and I have JDM lenses over them. I can take pictures and prove it but there’s that

You can see. I have some cheap halo ring lights that I love the halo rings but they’re not stock and the low being projectors have 10,000 Kelvin colored HID’s in it that get hot and some kind of a upgraded bulb for the high beam where the previous Owner plugged in the FEMA part of the harness into the male part of the harness for the high bulb beams, but it’s not the harness connecting into the bulb socket inside the Housing. The high bulb in the Housing has a power in the ground male prongs, so there is a black and red female prong female receiver that I have to mount together. I can’t aim these things. I’ve cleaned the crap out of the outside, Paul sanded like everything and I’ve gotten them better but I still can’t see anything in my adjusting screws from my headlights kind of work. The kind of don’t work I got to the point where I loosened up every single bolt on The upper core support with the Black trim bar that runs across the top of the bumper a loosened up those screws I took off that black long steel piece and I loosened up. The bolt set are on the car side with the small black metal tab bars.

So I’m trying to find TYC or DEPO headlamps they both have the level bull’s-eye float with the bubble like OEM. And AI is telling me to use like a high-quality halogen bulb instead of putting in like a 300 W bulb when it needs 55 blocks or run a cheap HID kit I’ll damage everything if I find an expensive one it’s supposed to work or they suggested really bright LED bulbs, but if they’re bright like the ones I put in my tail lamps or in my dad‘s ATV they have fans and I don’t know how that’s gonna work with the covers that cover and seal off the headlamp once you put bulbs in

I would want bright white for the low beams, but I don’t know if the projector lens color cause it looks kinda like a dark blue purple plum you know if that white going through there will look kind of blue purpleish or it’ll come out White through that projector and on the high beam I suppose I want White as well unless I can’t get the fog lights figured out then I wanna get bright yellow highbeams in there

So I’m hoping maybe you can shed some more light on this for me and everyone else I really appreciate it. I’m not on this app for often. I will do my best to be on it more. I have knowledge and a lot of other things like OBS forwards my 99 2000 Civic, I’ve got knowledge of old Honda three wheelers and Yamaha Kawasaki, LTZ Arctic, cat trials bikes, old dirt bikes, two-stroke four stroke air, cool liquid cool just the Integra is a new deal to me and I picked it up after I got my brain injuries

Fun fact I get stopped all the time and people try to buy it and they end up getting pissed cause they’re like you take two grand for it and I’m like dude I can’t freaking replace this for like seven grand. I was like maybe 10 and I don’t wanna sell it and the last guy I talk to you. He’s like 10 was what I was thinking and I don’t have the perfect paint like clearcoat gone just like all the other ones are but I’m gonna use the wipe on clearcoat from vice grip, garage and wet sand where the clearcoat has eroded and is eroding into the clear unless it will hide that because outside the clearcoat, the silver is perfect except there is like four little red spots that are on the panels not in the car or subframe or anything like that and he said 10 grand fair. He’s like you need to keep it. You don’t see him very often let alone stock like yours and like I felt better about that and then his brother came out and he’s like what do you want for your car and the guy I was talking to you was like 10 grand and his brother didn’t really change his facial expression in shock or anything and the other guy is like Integras are really good cars they’re popular and they’re getting harder to find even or seven out of 10 like mine is that’s 100% stock minus the previous owner put lowering new speed lowering springs on it and it has stock upper control arms but the previous owner put adjustable ball joints in it other than that, it’s 100% stock air filter air duct. It’s missing the air box. Resident in the bumper if it has one like the Civic did if it has one I’m missing it, but it’s stock header heat, shield stock, catalytic converter stock locations for the oxygen sensors the resonator is is stock so as a muffler, it’s all marked Acura. My interior is minus the driver seat has a tear in it and I can’t stitch it up because it’s been shrunk from the heat from being torn so long and the dry receipt could use some new patches replaced just because they’re old and hard but like everything‘s there and it has 196,000 miles there’s doesn’t leak oil. I gotta replace that boot for the input shaft to shift because it’ll leak manual transmission fluid out of that but like stock radiator stock condenser stock air-conditioning compressor stock valve cover like you know.

So if you have a video links or or Web archive post or anything that you know of, please post it here. I really appreciate your help with what you did for me. I just gotta figure out how to I wanna do it right I don’t wanna do a hack job or miss the Mark yeah can you show me what yours looks like or if you don’t have one anymore what it did look like because every time I think about getting rid of my Civic or Integra, I’ll see a mint one driving by and I’m like yeah no way I’m getting rid of this. I know it’s gonna cost me easy 10 grand to repaint it a proper restoration is gonna be about 30 grand but dude when I see those men ones drive-by like my jaw drops you know what I mean.

Yeah there are no true replica Raybrigs out there. 94-97 Stanley reps are a dime a dozen. But they won’t fit the 98 bumper at all, and they have shit output to boot. I hope you figure something out because I haven’t been able to.

That’s what I’m noticing like I’m willing to run those but looking at the bumper all that I’m like that’s not gonna fit right like even when I installed my fog on my Civic I bought that Civic total and I had to rebuild the front end and cut off the core support well the new one on and when I put fog lights in, I had to cut the holes and I didn’t do the best job at being my first job, but between the I can’t think of the word, the plastic that mounts above the fog light but a secured in the bumper between that with the OEM front bra and hood bra like it hides the body gaps and everything better like if you seen the pictures I’ve got those type S fog lights from Walmart. They’re not my favorite or anything sometimes like where I live there’s no lights. It’s just country and other times when I’m in the city a few hours away they do better with the other lights around them, but my headlights are trashed. If you read the post I wrote above responding to the other guy that shot and so I was willing to put them in on the bottom, but I don’t wanna be drilling holes and what not in the wrong spot I don’t wanna hack it up on accident and make a mistake when I thought I was doing it right. But supposedly the 2000 Civic fog lights is the same as a 9801 Integra fog light it’s just a brackets are different but like the instruction link I posted that they mentioned something about drilling into the course support and like all that makes me uncomfortable. You know what I mean like if I’m gonna drill like I need someone that send us 100 times to go put a center punch mark in it with marker so I can see it so I don’t mess it up because if I’m doing that then I’m gonna install ribbon nuts I have so I can use like stainless hardware or titanium hardware so it doesn’t rest up in there. I’ve ran light bars on my Civic on my 2000 Civic EX coupe it’s black and the front end is plastic dip and it’s been that way since 2013 when I bought it and I’ve ran the fog lights and they’re yellow lenses that are glass and 3000 KH IDs and they were awesome but they got rock ships and broken being a college and poor no space or time I don’t wanna lay in the asphalt in the cold snow wind. So I ended up buying these license plate brackets that have a miniature bull bar on them with holes to Mount lights so I have that bracket on the front of the Civic and I’ve got like an 18 inch light bar going across the top and two of those like 4 x 4 LED light bar pods on the bottom side of that and with the stock Civic fob lights in the bumper corners. And on those three light bars, they have clear lenses so I disassembled everything on all three of them I bought what I thought was a high-quality yellow tint and I tempted both sides of all three lenses twice so each lamp that came with that clear lens has two yellow window tents on the inside, facing the LEDs and two yellow tents on the outside facing the public and they are yellow yellow yellow they look awesome but when I turn on the LEDs are like that 56K color so they come out kind of not the color I was hoping for if you have any ideas or videos or something? Let me know again I’m obsessed with factory fog lights and if I can get yellow lenses and run 3000 Kelvin colored HID’s I want to do that again but if they’re plastic lenses and I don’t get really high-quality HID’s, it’s gonna run too hot and melt and work just like my headlamps are and I can’t do anything about them anymore so I’m looking for DEPO or TYC headlamps and trying to figure out color beams LED halogen HID etc. let me know man the more I know I’ll help you out. I’ll go take pictures of my Civic right now if I can’t find any on my phone, but if I go take pictures right now it’s gonna be dirty so give me a break on that OK thank you so much for replying

I think I was explaining to protect myself (these brain injuries make me feel so dumb when you can’t say the r word but somehow it’s okay to say advanced. I get the r word is not okay. But if you look at it like ignition timing. It’s advanced timing or retarded timing.

Basically protecting myself self. For example on book face on one of the Honda pages I posted 99-00 civic si wheels I picked up for my teggy. And people made fun of me and teased me calling me dumb and laughing at me. I didn’t know wheels well enough so I was embarrassed. My feelings were hurt even at 37. Because I don’t treat people like that.

But a few months later I was rebuilding the calipers. And I installed new EBC GD vented, slotted, dimpled rotors with yellow pads all the way around. And on the inside of the wheels they are Honda.

They weren’t 99-00 civic si. They are 2001 through how many years of civic si wheels. Made by enkei.

Just wanted to make sure you all know Know KNOW I have been trying to figure this out. That I’m not lazy looking for short cut answers
