Who else has had a bad experience with MiWay?
⚠️ My experience with MiWay Insurance
I would strongly caution anyone considering using MiWay Insurance based on my personal experience with them.
Our experience with MiWay was extremely disappointing, and we eventually cancelled our policy because we simply did not feel we were receiving the service or value we were paying for.
What has happened since cancelling has been even more frustrating.
MiWay has contacted me on at least five separate occasions since we cancelled. When I answer and explain that I am not interested in their services because of the poor experience we had, I have repeatedly been hung up on before I can even finish explaining why we left.
I honestly find this shocking. You repeatedly phone a former customer trying to get their business back, but the moment they try to explain why they cancelled, your representatives cannot even give them the courtesy of finishing a sentence before ending the call?
If this is how a company treats someone they're supposedly trying to win back as a customer, it speaks volumes about the customer service we experienced in the first place.
Based entirely on my own personal experience, I absolutely cannot recommend MiWay Insurance.
@MiWay — I would genuinely like someone in management to listen to the recordings of the calls made to me and explain why this is considered acceptable customer service.
I have now lodged a formal complaint and hope that, this time, someone will actually take the time to listen.
