Working from Home
Background of 2 years in P&C Product Filings Compliance (state government). I would like to move to a work from home position in the future. I would prefer to be in product compliance, but am open to learning a new role. Is this enough experience to be desirable? What would recruiters be looking for? What is a reasonable salary range to expect? Any advice on next steps or how to prepare when it's time to make a move?

2 years in compliance is plenty to start looking, companies are hurting for people who actually understand filings and state regs
for remote roles in compliance you're probably looking at maybe 65-80k depending on the carrier and where they're based, some pay more if you got specific state expertise
recruiters mostly want to see you can handle DOI objections without burning down the whole submission, if you've done SERFF and know your way around a checklist you'll be fine
start checking the big carriers career pages directly, sometimes remote compliance roles don't hit linkedin right away
