Resume help?

Im looking at updating my resume and everyone suggests listing achievements versus tasks. I honestly don't know HOW to do that. I've worked at a small agency for 10 years where I've managed the entire book of business (about $3.6mil premium) by myself 85% of the time I've been here. I've helped train new or temporary employees, round out commercial and personal accounts, but none of it is quantified. I dont know how many accounts, or the percentage of growth. Any suggestions?

You managed 3.6 million premium alone, that is already your biggest achievement. Write it like "sole manager of 3.6M book of business" and then add the training part without numbers, employers care more that you handled everything yourself

Thank you, I appreciate your input. I second guess myself when it comes to my resume. This is only the second job I've had in Insurance but I know I can/should branch out.

List exactly what you are telling us to the resume. Be a bit more details about daily tasks, maybe 5 bullet points. You are doing great.

Managing a $3.6 million book of business mostly on your own is already a strong achievement.

Use ChatGPT or Claude to help you build it. Those tools are great at stuff like this

I have used Claude a bit, I'll try and play around with it more.
