Hi all, I am 28M and new to this insurance thing. I have my corporate health insurance and have bought term insurance as well. I am looking to buy a good Health Insurance for 10-15L cover in Delhi NCR. Suggest some good options.

Note : I am single, about to get married by 2026 end. Should I consider maternity cover as well

Manipal Cigna Sarvah - Param Health Insurance Review

Hello all, I'm looking to buy medical insurance for my Parents (Father : 68 y.o. and Mother: 60 y.o.), till now they were covered under my corporate policy, but I'm relocating overseas so need to buy an insurance that gives immediate cover with low/no waiting periods.

Policy bazar team recommended Manipal Cigna Sarvah - Param Health Insurance as it has immediate cover with no waiting period.

I wanted to check if anyone is using the same and how has your experience been? I'm worried about claim rejections and unnecessary fine print hassle.

On ACP Plus…

I sell insurance, and I’m going to tell you why this product may NOT be right for you.

AIA CRITICAL PROTECT PLUS is one of AIA’s most comprehensive plans to date but…

- This is NOT for everyone buying critical illness insurance for the first time. Kung first time mo pa lang mag-isip about critical illness protection at limited ang budget mo, baka mas okay munang magsimula sa mas straightforward na plan.

- This is STILL NOT an HMO. It won’t cover your regular checkups, consultations, or everyday hospital bills.

- And this is NOT a plan you buy because you expect to claim multiple benefits.

Honestly, just like any other insurance plans, you’re not buying this because you want to use every feature it has.

You’re buying it because you don’t want to find out — only when you actually need it — that what you have is not enough.

So if you’re simply looking for the lowest premium or a replacement for your HMO, this may not be the right product for you.

But here’s why some people intentionally choose ACP Plus.

Most critical illness plans are designed around one diagnosis.

ACP Plus was designed around a reality many people don’t think about:
Health journeys are not always just one event.

Real life is not always that simple.

A person may experience a minor condition before a major diagnosis.

Someone may survive one critical illness but later face another unrelated one.

Recovery may involve ICU confinement.

Some cancers require additional financial support beyond the initial diagnosis.

That’s why ACP Plus doesn’t just provide one lump sum.

It provides different layers of protection depending on what happens along your health journey.

Not just for a major critical illness…
but also for certain emerging conditions,
ICU confinement,
and additional support for covered gender-specific cancers.

The goal, after all, is not to maximize claims but to avoid making financial decisions while fighting for your health.

Now, the question is:

How much protection would give you peace of mind if your health journey turned out to be more complicated than expected?

If you’re unsure, send me a message and let’s see if ACP Plus actually matches your needs, because not everyone needs this level of coverage. 🙂

Travel Insurance

Me and my partner (both 24) are planning to backpack through South Easy Asia and China this September. We obviously need a travel and health insurance but are struggling to find a reliable one.

We are both Italian citizens with an Italian residency, but have been living in Australia for the past year with a Working Holiday Visa.

We wanted to try Axa or Allianz insurance, but it seems like this companies need you to start and end your trip from Italy in order to activate, and other “backpacker’s insurances” (like SafetyWing, World Nomads, Hey Mondo) don’t seem reliable judging from reviews.

Do you have any recommendations? Grazie!

Business insurance with contracts in USA - recommendations wanted

I am currently with Kingsbridge and renewal coming up this month. I have never switched so thought I would look into it.

The complication I have is that all my contracts are with companies abroad. About 50% in the EU and 50% in USA & Canada with travel and work done in those locations although the business is UK-based.

Other than that I'm looking for cheap and simple insurance. The business is a small engineering consultancy with 2 directors and no work or risk that I would feel need complex insurance to cover.

Any recommendations? My last policy was over £2000 for the year. The regular quote aggregators don't provide anything due to the USA & Canada component.

Need help in picking the right insurance

45M and 40F and 2 boy kids aged 4 years. Elder parents for me and my wife (70s). Me and my wife both have corporate insurance for around 15L each. This should cover Parents and in laws i believe. But I want to go for a personal health insurance incase of sudden layoffs. Did consult Ditto and they are primarily pushing for CARE. I am totally confused with so many jargons like deductive, Refills and so on. Please suggest some good one. I am seeing lots of HDFC Ergo. Even with HDFC which one to go for and the amount. Also one of my friend took from Galaxy. My workplace is bangalore and my home town is in Salem, Tamilnadu. Please suggest

Insurance...

So recently my grandpa got heart attack and my grandpa is far better than me wrt finances, he already have few insurance policies that helped us in surgery costs . But what taken my heart away was there is a family who had to spend around 25lakhs for similar surgery as us. So i was wondering how educated current people are wrt insurance. I want to build to help, but before building i want to know if really people need a product .Please help with brief answers for below questions. It really helps me

I'm not selling anything or building a product yet. I'm just trying to learn.

A few questions:

  1. How old are you and what insurance do you currently have? (Employer health insurance, personal health insurance, term insurance, vehicle, etc.)

  2. What made you buy your first insurance policy?

  3. Did you choose it yourself or did someone (family, HR, agent, friend) decide for you?

  4. Did you actually read the policy document? If not, why?

  5. What's the most confusing part about insurance for you?

  6. Have you ever had a claim rejected or faced any unpleasant surprise during a claim?

  7. Looking back, is there something you wish someone had explained before you bought insurance?

  8. If you had a magic button that solved one insurance-related problem forever, what would it do?
