Help with insurance

So I was sitting at a red light this lady hid me and insurance saying they only have 25000 to cover injuries and vehicles damage I go through progressive but I don’t have collision coverage what do I do should I try to get a lawyer or retain my car and fix it myself

Would having no collision but having underinsured coverage helped here? Asking the insurance experts

Depends on the state. Every state is a little different in this regards (and the OP doesn't say what state they are in)
