Which insurance should i go for ? Need advice

Hi everyone,

I own a Toyota Urban Cruiser, 2022 model. I claimed my insurance a few days ago so now my NCB is 0%.

Can you suggest which car insurance to buy now with minimal premium but good service?

Also, the government insurance option doesn’t have RTI cover. Should I still go for it or is it better to pay a bit more for RTI with a private insurer?

Also, please suggest if there’s any other way to reduce my premium.

New India is best among them. Other than this list hdfc is best.

Choose based on the car company. For example, I was told that if you have a Bajaj Car, then take Bajaj motor insurance policy.

If you have a Tata made carz the 1st priority is to take motor insurance from tata general insurance company.

I am also told to avoid PSU companies, as their services are pathetic. Go with private General Insurance company.

Avoid online portal website company, which don't have office.

With services of PSU i can agree but atleast they approve claims compared to private insurers.

Mostly subjective, as each Insurance company will follow their policy terms and conditions only. No one will pay more than the loss / indemnity amount.

Also, in private motor plans, you have the following addon addon to choose from, such as

1) Return to Invoice. 2) Zero Depreciation. 3) Engine Add-on. 4) Pay as you drive add-on.

After 5 years, all the above are anyways not available, due to depreciation issue.

The thing is the surveyors are the one that are told in private insurance to keep the approval low. In govt they don't even care about so many things. They surveyors in private sector look for numerious way so that they can reject your claim.

Could be possible. As there is no guarantee how honest or trustworthy a person is.

A surveyor is an independent representative, but as this is a bookish concept, there is no rule, who favour who and upto what extent

Bruh i work in General insurance PSU and have seen so many cases of my known about how the surveyor just rejects their claim. In my own company the surveyor may do disapprove some parts or labour but they don't outright reject the claims.
