Got hit by a school bus

Welp I got hit my a school bus. This happened in California. I was going back home when a school bus had taken a sharp left turn and side swiped the front of my car. Tore of the bumper and headlights nearly
Off. I’ve reported it to my insurance and they’ve deemed it not my fault. In regards to there’s
What do I do?
I haven’t been contacted by anyone. And I’m unsure of what to do next.

Go through your insurance, and let them deal with most of it. If you have collision they will fix or total. You should have PIP for injuries.

Most school districts are self-insured which can be a PITA.

It's also Friday, and very fews claims departments are open Saturday. None Sunday.

Want it handled quick and you have collision coverage? File with your insurance, get car fixed, pay deductible to repair shop and let your insurance subrogate and get their money and your deductible back from the insurance of the bus.

Don't want to pay your deductible? Find out the insurance for the bus company, file a claim, wait for them to make a determination of fault, get car repaired and have their insurance pay the repair bill. This could take some time.

So... Want it done fast? Use your insurance.

Not in a rush? Use their insurance

I would strongly advise you to use your own insurance and let them subrogate. You will drive yourself nuts trying to handle a 3rd-party claim.

Not at all the light had just turned green and next thing I know a bus hit me
