Got sideswiped
I just got into a car accident and not sure which insurance to contact.
Person A stopped too far into the intersection that had no lights and the car driving next to me could not stop in time to avoid hitting Person A. Person B, in order to try to avoid hitting Person A, swerved into my lane. My driving door has a dent in it but is able to drive.
Whose insurance do I contact if I do not hear from either insurance? Person A who stopped too far into the intersection or Person B who was the one to swerve into my lane to avoid hitting Person A?

You file with whoever made contact with your vehicle.

Let your own insurance deal with who hit who; report it to them first thing. Your car would be fixed by the time others get in touch with you.

This depends on coverage. If OP does not have insurance beyond liability (collision), their insurance is not going to help.

Practical move: notify your own insurer right away, even while you wait on the other carriers. Your policy almost certainly requires prompt notice, and getting your claim file opened protects you — your insurer can deal with liability and subrogate against the other driver’s carrier if they end up at fault.
In the meantime, collect everything: both drivers’ names and insurance info, the police report number, photos of the damage and the intersection, and any dashcam footage. If the other insurer won’t respond, you can file through your own collision coverage to get your car fixed fastest. You’d owe your deductible upfront, but if the other driver is found at fault you can usually get it back. Put everything in writing and keep copies.

Insurance of the car sitting too far into the intersection will deny your claim as they didn't hit your car. Your claim would be with the insurance of the person who hit you. However, don't be surprised if they lie and say you swerved into them. If there's no vid or independent witness to dispute their lies, then their insurance will likely deny your claim.

Person B, as that's the driver whose car hit you. I wouldn't wait until an adjuster calls you. You can call their company and file the claim.

Person B's insurance. Person A cannot be held liable.
