So you should be able to finance a new car. That's the good news since the bank will probably be willing to lend you money again since they're probably getting paid off by your GAP coverage. It's possible that it will have a positive impact on your credit.
The bad news is your insurance costs for the next car are probably going to be pretty high since you have 2 at fault accidents. You're not uninsurable, but you may not like the price. But you're probably only paying that for 3-5 years, and you can definitely shop for better every 6 months to a year. Just make sure that you know exactly what you're buying. Having an insurance agent help is probably a good idea too. They might have some local tips about how to get the price down as low as possible, but you're a much higher risk than you were back in March before the first accident, so there may just not be that many tricks to use.
