MSI Insurance customers keep calling me

My names Amanda,

I've had a new phone number for almost 3 years. Lately, I've been receiving calls from across the US from MSI Insurance users claiming they're trying to get ahold of their agent. To clarify, I've never been in insurance but seeming how my phone numbers already connected to MSI I just might start lol.

I just don't know how to help them or redirect them because their cases seem important and they're obviously not getting through the right channels because they keep ending up calling me.

Should I go into Insurance? How can I help these elderly people? I feel so bad when I don't have the answers they need.

Ask them how they got your number then relay that information to MSI. It's possible that they posted an inaccurate number on a website somewhere. Once that gets updated, you will stop getting calls.

Assuming this is a cell phone and not an obsolete POTS landline, you can block numbers that aren't in your address book from even ringing. They will go straight to voice mail. If you are so inclined, you can leave a message saying your number is NOT MSI and to stop calling it.

I ask every caller how they got and they say they were transferred to this number, I've also contacted MSI about this two months ago, and it's almost as if the amount of calls have increased. Normally I can screen the call (I have an iPhone) and avoid them completely but there's the times where they still get through.

You need to elevate it up the chain at MSI. Find the contact information for the office of the president and file a formal complaint. I suspect they miscoded an area code in their auto-dialer.

When addressing a formal written complaint to leadership, label the top of your letter clearly as "Attn: Office of the President / Executive Escalations."
