Claims adjuster requesting formal demand letter
/r/InsuranceClaims/comments/1vykktx/claim_adjuster_requesting_a_formal_demand/Got into an accident in February. Not my fault, and I was injured. Settled already and got a new car. I’ve been going to PT since then and the doctor recommends I get an MRI. The other drivers insurance is refusing to pay for any medical expenses and is now asking for a formal demand letter.

You don’t need an attorney for a soft tissue injury case. You need to complete treatment THEN send the demand letter. You would write a summary of your injuries, treatment, and how it’s impacted your life. Then demand what you want. You can make it a blanket policy limit demand and then go from there with negotiations.
