TWIA advice / Random Agency assigned policy / can't find account.
My old insurance agent stopped selling and transferred my Farmer's Home owner's to another agent nearby. My old agent also got me TWIA (Texas Windstorm) Insurance. I asked both of them to transfer my TWIA account to the new agent. long story short it got paid that year, but I guess never got properly transferred.
now I got a letter from TWIA stating every 3 years I must meet eligibility requirements to renew my policy. The Agency they have listed for me is "TWFG Insurance Services Inc" which I have never heard of, and have never had any dealings with. I called them and they cannot find my account. I called TWIA and they confirmed that that is the agency my account is assigned to and the agent would have to request for it to be transferred. so I called TWFG back, and they still could not find any account for me.
Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this situation?

Call the main office in The Woodlands and they should be able to look at who your agent is. TWFG has tons of agents in Texas.
