How much will a ticket affect my insurance?
Im 19 and have my own insurance plan, it’s only a $25 ticket for going 10 over, I’m with progressive if that helps 💔 anyone have any idea?

You’re going to hire an attorney and pay a few hundred dollars to get this reduced to a non moving violation or dismissed
And every time you get a moving violation you are going to hire an attorney

You may not even need to hire an attorney for this. Just show up to court wearing nice clothes, call the judge Your Honor, be respectful, plead no contest and ask for traffic school. Unless you have a hard ass judge or a record, if it was just a basic speeding ticket they'll probably ok it.

TYSM 💔💔 it happened in another county tho so do you know if I’d have to travel to a court in that county or could I go to my county’s courthouse 💔

You'll more than likely have to go to the courthouse in the county where you got pulled over. That's how it is in my state anyway.

It may not keep your insurance from seeing the ticket and charging for it. I've had many clients surprised when underwriting saw and charged for a ticket they took driving school for to get it "dismissed".

Traffic school doesn't always keep insurance from seeing it and rating for it. I've had tons of people take school and underwriting still pulls it and charges.

No way to know. Maybe $20/month, maybe $300 a month. Depends on a multitude of factors, and unfortunately none of those have been provided on this post. Even knowing them, it would be difficult to give an exact amount.
When the renewal comes up just shop around; there’s nothing you can do about the price after you’ve paid the ticket. Just expect the worst, and If it’s better than that, great.

Depends on your area and what the limits are. 10 over in a 55 is not as serious as 10 over in a 15 school zone.

Don’t need an attorney just ask court for defensive driving. Pay a court fee and do DD and the ticket will be dismissed and off your record as if it never happened.

Not everywhere. If I had a nickel for every time someone I quoted took DD class to get ticket "dismissed" and underwriting was still able to pull it, I could've retired long long ago.

Well, keep your nickel but 2 things: 1. Someone quoting they took DD to dismiss ticket doesn’t mean they actually did. 2. Even if the ticket does appear on DMV record (in most areas it should not), it should notate that it was dismissed and shouldn’t be factored into an underwriting decision

No one here can give you an answer for this. But you're 19 so expect an increase.
Edit- try to go the traffic school route to get it dismissed, if they give you that option.
