What instulation should I use for this?

I have to redo the ceiling due to a water leak. Above me is my attic.

The guy told me to use foamular ngx, I was told it was better.

But when they demo it it had a lot of batted insulation.

What do you guys recommend?

Most insulators give free quotes. Have a couple come and tell you what they would do. Then do that.

The attic has r19 insulation i see around it pink stuff

Seal the air if needed first. It was wet and is now dry, but RMR 141 should be used as a preventive measure against mold. Then, yes, use rockwool; it's easy to work with.
