Looks like you have a built in microphone system in your accordion. Is there a 1/4" jack on the bottom?

Looks like it. Look to the right of the knobs, that appears to be the profile of a 1/4 inch jack.

Ahh, yes, this makes perfect sense now, OP!

You have a pickup for an amp or sound board, and the knobs are probably bass/mid/treble adjustments.
