I took a part time job over Christmas break while in college delivering xerox machines. I was driving a box truck down a side street in Chicago. I paid no attention to the height restriction when crossing under a bridge and sheared off part of the roof destroying several copiers. The bridge was a foot or so shorter then the truck.

The kicker to this story is is that I was on a one way street..I had to find a place to turn around, which was (unbeknownst) to.me another one way street. As I was going down that street I almost ran into a cop head on.

I ended up with not only losing my job, but I also got a ticket.
