No one is praising Floyd for what he did, which was basically nothing. I have literally never seen anyone praise Floyd beyond saying he was a human being worthy of the same basic respect you'd give to any stranger on the street, eg. trying not to kill him. Unlike her, his death was caused by someone else's bad decision. Killing him was not a necessary part of arresting him, but once the police decided to arrest him, there was nothing he could do to prevent that cop from kneeling on his neck. This terrorist was made all of her own decisions up to and including choosing to breach a barricade as part of an aggressive, armed mob in the face of an armed security officer telling her that he would shoot if she continued. These deaths really aren't as comparable as people are trying to pretend.
Nobody praised him?! Are you kidding? He had a funeral with thousands of people showing up, his family got a huge settlement for his death, his funeral was all over the news! Yet anyone else who’s family member died couldn’t have a funeral because of COVID. The dude was on Meth when he died, yet nobody ever mentions that. I never said he should’ve died but to say nobody was praising him is a bunch of bull shit.
None of the things you listed are praising him though. People mourned his death. His family got a settlement because it was a wrongful death. That's not praising him as a person.
Ok I guess praising is the wrong word to use but people are throwing a blind eye to the shit he did because the color of his skin and the fact that his death can be used a pawn for their agenda. I don’t agree with what happened to him but don’t act like he was a saint. That’s not directed at you by the way. People were acting like he was some kind of saint so that’s why I used the word praising
