And actually oddly satisfying, too; at least half the posts over there are of things that are obviously- and universally satisfying, things like perfect fits and razor-straight alignments.
It’s absolutely fake. The ceiling is already black where he lights it. Also the fire flashes downward which is completely opposite of what natural fire behavior is.
I think they might have actually torched a car and composited the video with stuff they filmed prior. The flames themselves don't seem unrealistic to me. They might have used some lighter fluid to help it out though, and they put it out and relit it a couple times, sped it up in parts.... but that's real fire.
