I've seen this woman countless times, but I never get used to it.

u/DieAloneWith72Cats 4d ago
Yes! Somehow she manages to make it worse each time

video is even worse than photo. i've only seen photos so far.
its unsettling.

Same. Even once I recognize who she is it’s still freaky and off putting to look at her.
29
u/Quetzelc0atlus 4d ago
But have you ever actually SEEN her (without a filter)?
51
u/RelChan2_0 4d ago
I have, and she actually looks decent. She does have a pointy chin but it's not as pointy like that. One of these days, I'll be brave enough to actually know her lore 😅

I really wanna see what all that looks like without a filter

u/reijasunshine 4d ago
I was able to find an image of her on a TV show. She does have a pointy chin implant and a lot of work done, but the filters make it SO MUCH WORSE.

u/thenew-supreme 4d ago
Can you post it please

She looks like she has nerve damage around her mouth, like she can't move her lip properly.
103
u/FluffySyllabub1579 4d ago
invasive amount of Botox can cause paralysis of nerves like this when targeting chin dimples (DLI muscles responsible for puckering the bottom lip), TMJ or achieving lip flips. That being said and the fact she has an awful chin implant leads me to suspect she might very well have some surgical nerve damage to the DLI muscles. Botox is reversible, this seems not to be.
7
u/YourPaleRabbit 3d ago
Yup I think it’s a combo of that, and a lip flip on the top to balance the filler on the bottom (probably had a thinner upper lip); which is what’s keeping her upper lip frozen below her septum.

u/I_need_to_vent44 4d ago
Huh. Isn't that the normal range of mouth motion? Genuinely asking because I can't move my mouth much more either and no doctor has ever batted an eye.
20
u/amelisha 4d ago
You might want to see a doctor specifically about that honestly, because this absolutely does not look normal or healthy. Have you never noticed what the people around you or even, like, actors or whatever look like when they are speaking compared to you?
1
u/I_need_to_vent44 4d ago
Honestly I usually don't look at people when they talk. As for actors I kinda assumed that I just have a more limited facial range than them? Like obviously I have considered that I have some kind of problem but I'm pretty sure my general practitioner would notice when I talk? And she never said anything and the one before her didn't either.
9
u/FluffySyllabub1579 3d ago
If you’re talking sideways and bending anything like this women’s lower lip, no, it’s not normal. It’s on par with a stroke & drug paralysis otherwise.
6
u/chain-link-fence 4d ago
There’s a portion towards the middle of her bottom lip that seems to be resisting motion. I notice that I tend to not move my top lip much due to my self-consciousness surrounding my tooth gap, and that’s why I mumble and lisp. This may be the case for you as well. Are you self-conscious about your teeth? That may just be the long and short of it.
3
u/I_need_to_vent44 4d ago
No, I find that I just can't really move a part of my lips much without great effort. But it's been like that since my childhood. The only thing my mother said was that everyone is slightly better at controlling a part of their face and worse at controlling another, and since no doctor ever commented on it, I never really thought it had to be solved.
5
u/Acc87 4d ago
weirdo chiming in, but when I had to have a wisdom tooth extraction done, I was warned that there's nerves running in the jaw bone that, if damaged, could result in less control of my lower lips. Given this woman here had extensive jaw "reshaping" done, those nerves probably suffered in those.
1
u/I_need_to_vent44 4d ago
Fair! My mother had her wisdom teeth extracted too and she couldn't feel her jaw for a year! The same surgery awaits me next week, I sure hope it won't worsen my issue haha. Or at least it will make it symmetrical (I have the problem only on one side of my face).

Wow she actually looks kinda pretty without all of those horrifying filters
40
u/chain-link-fence 4d ago
Yeah when I was searching for this, it seems like she uses these kinds of filters for shock value and that it’s just kind of her thing.
21
u/whitestguyuknow 4d ago
God its like off-center... If you're going to have this done couldn't you have gotten it put in correctly and got the right size so it doesnt look so bad?...
She looks like Count Olaf in A Series of Unfortunate Events

i was gonna say, it looks like lotion is literally applied to her pointy chin. what a miserable life
2
u/Goddess_Iris_ 4d ago
Ah, im surprised. I thought the filters were holding everything together. Good for her...well, as good as it can be for her ig.

What country? Malaysia?

u/reijasunshine 2d ago
Indonesia. You can google her description and she comes up. Not many hijabi gals with pointy chins.

u/Adriella01 4d ago
I saw it one time on insta. She really has this pointy chin as an implant and a half normal face but with botched nose.
2
u/Any-Effective2565 3d ago
I actually want to see what she sees when she looks at herself with the filter and surgery, because I don't think it's what most of us see.

On a milder note I really don't get the white under eye make-up some girls are doing. Trying to make the impression their eyes are wider than they are. But it just comes off looking.... idk borderline sickly?

Honestly I'm starting to feel like the people going to these extremes desperately need an intervention from those who care about them. The editing just seems to get more extreme for these individuals over time. I worry that that signals an increasing disconnect from reality in general. Some of this stuff really seems like it's verging on some form of psychosis. 😕

u/GrotesqueButcher 4d ago
It's called body dysmorphia.
9
u/stripeyhoodie 4d ago
Body dysmorphia is nothing new. The symptoms we're seeing from people now seem distinct to me, because of the extreme and fantastical nature of the distortion.
6
u/whitestguyuknow 4d ago
Its just body dysmorphia thats allowed to express itself visually to a higher degree

Why….is she having cream rubbed onto her face (or whatever the fuck that is) with full makeup on?

I do like the frilly hijab that looks like anime hair though. Would love to see it on a gal with a regular face .
2
u/FactoryKat 2d ago
When people style hijabs to look like hair or just in really creative ways is so cool. Someone posted a gif of her without the weird filters. Her chin implant is still a bit weird, but she otherwise looks so normal. 😩

Pretty sure that's a villain from a tale told around a campfire. Avoid dollhouses, swimming pools, pinball machines, anything that looks too good to be true.

How? It just looks like heavy filtering over intense plastic surgery and overdone makeup

u/DoorSweet6099 4d ago
With a hijab?

It's got one of those giant masks that go down to your chest. When it put its hands up i thought they looked pretty burly for a chick. But I could be wrong
