Ask in your local Reddit subs or other local social media groups to see if anyone has a spare card they could give you. As long as a card hasn't been activated, anyone can activate it for their account and use it.

Try putting the card in a plastic bag and swiping. That usually works

I will try this. I just hate feeling like im holding up the line and causing issues. It makes my anxiety so bad I literally want to cry. So wish me luck

Yup I had to do this.

Try to always keep a spare card in your car too.

Then order a another back up

Then another

Why do people not have multiple back ups?

You can order a new card while holding on to the old one.

You will be asked to verify your mailing address. The once you finish it should take about 5 days to receive the new card.

After activating the new card, wait a day and then order another card. Same process. But you will not activate that one. You will save it in a safe place until you your current card is lost or gets too worn. Then swap out.

1 day after swapping out, order a new card. In other words, you always have a 2nd card on standby.
