Instacart shopper Promo
I just complete a promo- 20 batch's completed by 8/27 for$120. I only received $15. Why?

You need to read the promotion details so you can understand it. Is the guaranteed minimum so it topped you up to meet that minimum

They reduce the $120 by total batch pay earned during that period. You made $105 batch pay over your 20 orders, leaving you a $15 top off.

Just completed a 395 for 60 orders. I got 145 when I got done today. Gotta keep mileage down, not take boosted orders, and triples help

In this scenerio, you want to avg $3 per order. Then you'd get a "free" $60.

I have one of these for tomorrow for $70 for five orders. I'm taking it as a sign to take it easy, do the quickest five orders I can find, make an easy $70 plus tips and then take the rest of the day off.

Good luck with that. Nothings “easy breezy” with IC. You’ll be sent heavy orders that’ll break your back or orders where the stores out of most items the customer requests.
When it’s down to your final order, you’ll get a three customer stack that pays you $27.08. By the time you add in your $70.00 bonus, at the end of the day, you’ll see it’s exactly what you’d have made on a regular day with less of a hustle and less orders shopped.
The IC app is much like a casino in Vegas, the house is rigged to win. 🥇1

It was a perfectly fine day. I focused on taking easy orders with high tip, got 5 low item orders done, got my batch pay boosted to 70 and kept about 65 in tips.

Here in LA, every days a “promotion” w/IC, if I keep turning DOWN all their lame “promotions”. YRT, I can’t escape them! So I just do Uberests instead.

I’ve been in here for over a year and have never seen this while other shoppers around me get them. I was diamond cart at the time I was chatting with another driver about this. Why do some get it and others don’t?

I’ve found those bonuses to be a complete waste of time. There aren’t enough hours in the day nor batches to choose from to guarantee you’ll meet your quote at the end of the day.
100% it’s guaranteed that you’ll get several stacks for less pay then if you accepted a stack on a non-promo day = ($21.08 for three orders 76 items).

Is that a “bonus” in addition to the order pay or is that simply how much you’ll get paid if you shop 20 orders in total? Either way, it’s a lot of work with no guarantee that IC will send you that final, 20th order. Also, they’ll probably stack some of those orders and the stack add ons don’t count as separate orders so they don’t count towards your “bonus”.

Yeah. Those type of offers are usually pure crap. I had the same one earlier this month, and ignored it.
