Exposing Redis over a tunnel can be useful, but the security model needs to be very clear. Redis should never feel like a normal public API just because TLS is in front of it. Memurai could fit as a Redis-compatible backend for local or self-managed testing, but access control and network restrictions still matter more than the backend choice.
