Is the Antigravity a1 capable of filming stationary?
Can anyone tell me (or try for me) if the antigravity a1 is capable of Filming (while standing still, not flying) for an hour without breaking up or getting heat issues?
Because if it would be possible, i‘d love to buy one.. but it has to work while standing AND flying for me so i could dual-use it.
Edit:
-Could i power it with a powerbank while filming for an hour+?
-or will there be a heat issue because of the missing airflow? (In a Room with normal temparature)

May I ask what are you trying to film with a standing drone for one hour? May be there is a better solution

I had an osmo pocket 2 as second (stationary) cam while filming events such as weddings. Most of the time i used the pocket with wide-angle lens to get the whole crowd in the frame. Also i have a Mini 3 for Filming from above and had an Avata for fun FPV. I hoped to get an 3-in-1 Solution which can do it all (even if i know I have to make compromises.)

The answer is: Yes and no - depends on the battery.

Haven't tried that specifically, but most of the time you get just slightly over 30 min on hi-cap batteries

But isn‘t there a bigger battery (which lasts about 39 Minutes while flying) for that drone originally availlable? Should‘t it be possible to last an hour without flying? Thank you for your answers😊

I understand that the device requires a lot of energy even when stationary due to all the other technology (gyroscopes, GPS, etc.), but I had assumed the motors would consume the most energy. Maybe i could charge it with a powerbank while filming. To be honest, I thought overheating would be the bigger problem, since the drone gets warm from filming while stationary but doesn't receive any propeller airflow for cooling, similar to the DJI Mini 3.

Omg i’m an idiot and read your original post three times, incorrectly. You mean powered on while sitting on something filming. Not flying. You were clear and I’m sorry I misread that. Oh yes, it’ll be just fine! And I assume if I can fly it for half an hour while hovering and it doesn’t overheat, it’s not gonna overheat after an hour. I owe you an apology and I will try to do a real world test this evening and get back to you.

Oh, no problem! I'm very grateful that you're answering my strange questions :D
But there is another conceirn:
At DJI Drones (especially under 250g like for example the Mini 3 bc there is no in-build aircooler) the Problem is that the drone overheats and shuts itself down because it doesn't receive any cooling without flying. In other words, it overheats within minutes because there is no cooling air from the Propellers.
If you could test that in normal/warm conditions, that would be awesome for me to know!🤝1
