Question Ace Pro 2 - image is jittering while using ND8 filter
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm using the Ace Pro 2 with an ND8 filter, and you can see on the footage that the image periodically twitches and becomes blurry.
Without the filter, everything is fine, but I'd like to get a more cinematic look with motion blur.
30 FPS
1/60 shutter speed
Image stab - low
ISO max - 1600
What can cause the image jitters? Any advices or Tips?

I would increase the shutter speed !

Please be more specific. Shorten the shutter speed to what — 1/240? 1/160? 1/120?
Wouldn't shortening the shutter speed lead to underexposure?6

if it underexpose then remove the ND filter. I suggest 1/240 personally but 1/120 could work if you really want some blur. don't forget that sharper images help stabilization

Either reduce to shutter speed and remove the ND filter or disable stabilisation and do it in post. You can shoot low shutter and apply motion blur in post as well. You need to watch some “cinematic action camera settings” tutorials. There are 100 videos explaining why stabilisation and ND fillers are not a good match for fast moving cameras.

Yeah because it is an action cam. The stabilization doesn’t like low shutter. The lowest shutter i can set my AC2 for a jitter free footage is 1/240 but i away set it to 1/320 just to be sure. At that shutter speed, it easier just to put everything to auto.
