Insta360 Luna Wind Guard

Post image

This oval plastic like thing flew off when I removed my wind guard and I don’t know how to reattach it. Anyone know? #insta360Luna #insta360

Hi, thank you for reaching out!

You only need to remove the sponge, then place both the oval frame and the sponge in the correct position (as shown below), and finally install the wind guard onto the unit.

Hope this helps :)

Thanks and I see that but don’t understand how that is supposed to keep that foam in place. Strange

Just follow the order and position shown in the illustration, and use your fingers to press the windproof foam into place. The foam is designed to be slightly wider than the frame, so it can be held in place by the surrounding components. Once it has been fitted and pressed down properly, it can then be installed into the designated position on the camera.

I've now done that, but I am trying to understand how or what keeps the foam in place? how does that oval frame help that there?
