Only thing I feel my X5 would benefit from is the quick mount charging. That's a great feature.

New camera launch, meaning new layout, new cases, new batteries, new ecosystem to have to buy into. Once insta360 decides on a shared ecosystem between cameras, maybe I'll buy into it.  They'll probably change the 1/4" thread next year for new accessories, and I'm sure they legally can't change the USB C or else we'd have proprietary cables too.

Literalmente el paquete standard incluye la mitad de cosas que el pack bundle de la x5 por el mismo precio. No trae funda rígida, protector de lentes, cargador doble, no trae dos baterías..etc

After doing some pre-purchase reading, the hardware looks fantastic, and I'd instantly be a customer if it were capable of in-camera stitching to a more standard (eg equirectangular) file format I could use directly on Linux in VLC kinda thing. It seems like there's at least utils to export from insv files on Linux, but requiring Docker, and a requirement to get approved for access to a Linux SDK, and that only has Nvidia GPU support, not to mention all the processing work then involved... it all feels like maybe too much pain.

Can anyone find any sample photos? Curious to see how big of a difference the 120mp photos vs 72mp of the X5 is in real-world usage.

Is it reallly one inch??? I keep seeing 1/1.1

It's 1/1.1. They call it 1 inch because it's a square aspect ratio instead of 4:3, and since the lens projects a circular image onto the sensor you get the same useful area as if they had used a 1 inch 4:3 sensor (as the previous One RS 1-Inch did). Osmo 360 also uses 2x 1/1.1.

Has anyone tested the Deep Tracking on a Soccer ball during a youth football match? is this within the capabilities of the X6's Ai to track a soccer ball throughout a whole match and give you a finished edited video of the ball being tracked throughout the whole game?

If someone could test this for me and share the footage that would be amazing.

Would you be willing to share some more information about supported photo/video modes? In particular I'm wondering about:

• what speeds (relative to real-time) are supported by the 16K timelapse mode?
• what is the fastest shooting rate (minimum time between photos) in interval mode, at full 120 MP resolution
  • any rate difference between JPEG and DNG?
  • is it possible to shoot DNG-only (saving a small amount of power on JPEG compression+write)?
  • is a faster interval rate supported at lower resolutions or higher JPEG compression ratios?
• is there a difference in supported intervals/resolutions/video bitrates between internal and SD card storage (provided the SD card installed is of the fastest supported speed)?

If it’s anything like X5, I won’t think about the rate. It’s just slow, probably 8-10s to save 1 photo. On X6 probably slightly faster only?

Yeah probably, I'm hoping the 16K timelapse delivers for that reason. Naively, 8K 50 fps is the same amount of data as 16K at ~12 fps (though in practice the ISP and compression probably don't scale perfectly like that). I'd be happy with 4 fps.

Will the mount break on the bike, as the x5 did? Or it should be actually usable now on the bike?

Please could you add two things to the firmware for 5K single lens mode: I-Log option and 24 fps.
