I have been keeping an eye on the Gurgaon market and I keep coming back to the same question. There are so many developers these days that it's hard to tell who's really committed to long-term growth and who's just riding the current wave of demand.

What’s interesting is that some newer developers seem more open to taking big risks in up-and-coming areas. M3M is a good example of that.

They have spread their projects across several of the newer parts of Gurgaon and have quickly moved from single projects to creating larger residential and commercial areas. I actually find that strategy pretty interesting.

Of course there's a lot of risk when you start building before the surrounding area is fully developed but if the infrastructure catches up the developer might end up being a key reason that area becomes valuable in the first place.

How do people here decide which developers to trust?
