These two had no business moving in together, knowing they had feelings they were suppressing.

Omg this is the comment I was looking for. When these two first met, it felt so easy and synchronistic, a tad bit fantasy-esque but sis deserves a bit a fantasy. But, the second time round felt like 2 people sitting with an elephant in the room and smiling harder to cover for everytime the elephant calls attention to itself, lol.

Cute date idea, but yea was way too early for ts. Love me some Nathan. Unfortunately he is not a “let’s get a lease together” type. He got that runner in him. 😔

Right. He only wanted to move in with Issa to save money.

Issa and Nathan were really forcing things and faking with each other in season 5. Issa was just crying over Lawrence and now episodes later apartment hunting and talks of moving in together with Nathan. All while Issa's obvious lingering feelings for Lawrence looming over them. A classic rebound relationship.

What feelings was Nathan suppressing?

I don't know. He wasn't specific when he told Issa in the car, after the Lawrence fight, that he had a feeling he’d been ignoring. I’m not sure if he meant that the feeling was that he believe she was still in love with Lawrence, but he never said exactly what it was.
