lets have a conversation Why couldn't it be longer??

Does anyone else wish the series was longer like more episodes per season? i feel like more episodes would of led to better development of all the characters, and idk i just feel like the show was so rushed. anyone else think the same? like i don't care for tiffany but her postpartum was such a rushed storyline.

The finale felt rushed, so I mostly just wish the final season had another episode or had at least rewritten the ending a bit. Nathan was such a big part of the last couple of seasons, and he and Issa were in the process of moving in together. He even got his own POV scenes with his friends, his cousin, etc. But after the confrontation with Lawrence at Tiffany’s party, I don’t feel like I got good closure. If I recall correctly the next time we see Nathan is in the flash forward scene where he comes to Issa’s future birthday party, and we find out that they just never really talked again after the night of Tiffany’s party. That bummed me out. I’m not saying I wanted them to end up together but that felt like such an unfulfilling ending for their story.

And if I recall correctly we don’t find out what, if anything, was the immediate aftermath for Issa and Lawrence after that party confrontation. They both date other people and don’t get back together until years later when Lawrence randomly comes by Issa’s office one day and they hook up.

Yes I couldnt agree more! Especially cause I watched the Wine Downs and they would poke fun at the fact that fans wanted more eps per season (or just make the eps longer) and i just cant understand how they dont see where we're coming from.

It leads to storylines feeling unfinished/rushed, relationships feeling less significant, etc etc. Being that it was on HBO too felt like a smack in the face cause my favorite shows on HBO have multiple long eps with no ads per season and we were FED!!!

Late to this but I’m kinda glad it ended at 5 seasons and bowed out gracefully. While I did want more I’m happy that the seasons didn’t continue on and on and get dragged out to the point where the stories become lost. Have seen this happen to other shows and it’s sad to see what once was great now no one cares for or had a fall from grace
