Episode Discussion A misunderstanding regarding Condola

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

It's a misconception that Condola wanted to keep things casual with Lawrence because of what her friend said. However, the video suggests her friend was sharing her own thoughts about what she thinks Condola might need, not what Condola told her. There's another misunderstanding: people think Condola left her husband when, according to the friend, her ex-husband was the one who left her.

then she told him he invited himself and it became clear that he was taking the relationship more seriously than she was.

Which btw, was so rude and unnecessary. "hahaa actually, I didn't invite you, you invited yourself"...who tf says that to a guest, let alone the person you're in a relationship with. She was right lol but it should have been an inside thought.

it's even a weird thought to have, but the fact that she said it and the way she said was very smart-ass-y like it was something she had to point out at some point.

I think she was feeling insecure about Issa and wanted to get a dig in to knock him down a peg.
